ABSTRAKLatar belakang penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kemampuan membaca nyaring siswa Kelas III di SD Negeri 20 Tanjung Lago, terlihat dari hasil lembar kerja siswa yang belum mencapai KKM. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca nyaring melalui media cerita bergambar, penelitian pada siklus 1 terdapat 5 siswa atau sebesar 20 % tuntas dalam belajar karena mendapatkan nilai ≥ 75 sedangkan yang memperoleh nilai kurang dari 75 ada 20 siswa atau sebesar 80 %. dengan ini peneliti memperbaiki proses pembelajaran tahap siklus II yang hasilnya signifikan tinggi. Hal tersebut dikarenakan telah ada perbaikan terhadap kelemahan pada siklus I. Pada siklus II terdapat 21 siswa mencapai kriteria ketuntasan dan 4 siswa yang belum tuntas. siklus II dikatakan berhasil mencapai target minimum 84 %. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan melalui media cerita bergambar kemampuan membaca nyaring siswa Kelas III di SD Negeri 20 Tanjung Lago dapat meningkat. The purpose of this research is to improve alaud reading skills through the media of pictorial stories. 20 % complete in learning because they get a score of ≥ 75 while those who get a score of less than 75 there are 20 students or 80%. with this the researchers improves the learning process in the second cycle stage where the results are significantly high. This is because there have been improvements to the weaknesses in cycle I. In cycle II there were 21 students who achieved the completeness criteria and 4 students who had not completed. cycle II is said to have succeeded in achieving the minimum target of 84%.
