AbstrakMateri matematika di SD yaitu satuan massa harus dipahami oleh siswa karena sangat erat kaitannya dengan kehidupan sehari-hari di sekitar kita. Dalam kenyataannya, pembelajaran materi konversi satuan massa pada siswa kelas 3 SD banyak mengalami permasalahan yang dirasakan guru banyak siswa yang kesulitan untuk mengikuti, memahami, serta menyelesaikan persoalan-persoalan matematika. Guru harus menjelaskan satu-satu dengan menghampiri siswa dari bangku-bangku. Hal ini kurang efektif dan efisien karena membuat waktu pelajaran yang tersedia tidak cukup maka dibutuhnya model pembelajaran yang efektif dan efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan peningkatan prestasi belajar kelas 3 pada materi satuan massa dengan penerapan model kooperatif tipe stad di SDN Bobang I Kabupaten Kediri. Subjek atau sasaran pada penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas III dengan jumlah 30 siswa terdiri dari 18 siswa putri dan 12 siswa putra. Penelitian ini merupakan bentuk penelitian tindakan kelas (classroom action research) yang dibagi menjadi 4 tahapan yaitu perencanaan (planning), tindakan (action) dan observasi (observe), serta refleksi (reflect). Hasil yang didapatkan pada penelitian ini yaitu persentase ketuntasan hasil belajar peserta didik pada prasiklus sebesar 20%, siklus I sebesar 50% dan siklus II sebesar 83,3% sehingga ada peningkatan dari prasiklus ke siklus I sebesar 30% dan peningkatan siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 33,3%..Kata Kunci: model kooperatif, tipe STADAbstractMathematics material in elementary school, namely unit of mass, must be understood by students because it is closely related to daily life around us. Teachers have to explain individually by approaching students from their desks. This method is less effective and efficient as it consumes a lot of class time. Therefore, an effective and efficient learning model is needed. This study aims to describe the improvement of learning achievement in 3rd grade on the topic of unit of mass through the application of the cooperative learning model, specifically the Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) model, at Bobang I Elementary School, Kediri Regency. The subjects of this study were 30 students in the 3rd grade, consisting of 18 female students and 12 male students. This research adopted a classroom action research design, which consisted of four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The results of this study showed that the percentage of students' learning achievement was 20% in the pre-cycle, 50% in cycle I, and 83.3% in cycle II. There was an improvement of 30% from the pre-cycle to cycle I and an additional improvement of 33.3% from cycle I to cycle II.Keyword : cooperatif learning, STAD type
