ABSTRACTTechnological advances are so fast and rapid, especially in digital communication and all dynamic information that it must be comparable to its supporting facilities so that students' interest in participating in learning is increasing. In fact, students are equipped with smart phones and internet facilities that are suitable for use in the modern learning process. Nevertheless, the use of this media has not been effectively used in learning English at SMK Putra Khatulistiwa Pontianak. The purpose of this research is to improve student learning outcomes using colored origami paper learning media on Song Lyrics material using qualitative research methods with a Minimum Criteria Score (KKM) of 75. The results showed an increase in student learning outcomes with an average grade of 71, the percentage of KKM 48%, becoming 76, the percentage of KKM 79% in the first cycle, followed by the second cycle with an average grade of 83, with the percentage of KKM 100%.
