Subtitles have an important purpose and role in supporting the progress of the world&#039s film industry. Apart from having the aim of helping to understand the meaning of the dialogue conveyed in a film or TV series, subtitles can also provide an explanation and description of the surrounding situation that occurs to support an ongoing scene. Because of this, the importance of accurately translating subtitles has become a necessity. This study aims to analyze the accuracy of the choice of word equivalents used in the translation of Indonesian subtitles in the film &quotEnola Holmes&quot on the Netflix application along with the translation techniques used by subtitle makers. The research method was carried out using qualitative research methods. To collect the required data, the authors use the Primary Data Collection method through direct observation of the object that being analyzed and through an online database to access films and their subtitles through the Netflix application itself. With 20 (twenty) dialogues that have been collected through the Purposive Sampling Technique, the writer analyzes the translation results to find the level of insurance and the translation technique used by the translator. The results obtained are that the translation of the subtitles in the film &quotEnola Holmes&quot has a high level of accuracy even though in the translation the translator tends to express it in a different way. In the source language, the text conveyed by the actors in the film often uses a standard language structure and uses words that are rarely used in everyday life in modern times. However, in the translation results in the target language, the translator conveys it in everyday language which is more in line with what is happening in the film.
