AbstractSlang is a language change innovation created by a group of people to distinguish their group. Speakers shape cohesive identities and distinct social classes, which evolve into societal culture. The goal of this research is to gain a thorough understanding of Jumanji: The Next Level film translation of slang as a manifestation of one&#039s socio-cultural identity. The descriptive qualitative method was used. Data is collected using documentation. The data is in the form of utterances containing slang in film actors&#039 dialogues. Data analysis includes data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. According to the research findings, the use of slang in the film Jumanji: The Next Level demonstrates the diversity of social and cultural identities in people&#039s lives. The results of the research show that slang expressions use three types of social identity, including gender, sexual orientation, and age.
