This study aims to analyze the category shift in translating the album &#039Sour&#039 by Olivia Rodrigo from English into Indonesian by Indolirik on Youtube. In translation analysis processes, the researcher used the theory of category shift based on Carford&#039s, such as structure shift, class shift, unit shift, and intra-system shift. This study used a qualitative descriptive method in analyzing the data. The result showed that found in the data which category shift consists of 225 unit shifts (61.81%), 97 structure shifts (26.65%), 26 intra-system shifts (7.14%), and 16 class shifts (4.4%). The analysis found that the most dominant shift in the English-Indonesia translation of the album occurs at a unit shift in the shift from a phrase into a word and vice versa.
